Jim LogueThis is wonderful work that you do. I was also curious – did you ever get the money from that fundraising thing that Donald Trump held when he refused to attend that one debate? I saw you were on the list.
K9s For WarriorsWe received a donation from the Stewart J. Rahr Foundation, as a result of the Veteran Event hosted by Mr. Trump

Jim LogueThat’s good to hear. Glad that worked out for you.

Liberty House, Manchester, NH

Donald Trump Disabled Vets
A while back, the Weekly Standard erroneously reported one of the organizations, Liberty House, a veteran’s organization which helps feed and cloth needy vets as well as provide housing for homeless veterans, would not take the donation from the Donald Trump for Vets fundraiser.
However, as you can see in this article “Reports Were Wrong =>Vets Group Took Trump Donation“, Liberty House, in an effort to maintain the appearance of political neutrality and amidst others’ concerns attending one of the Donald Trump rallies might turn a charity donation into a campaign photo opportunity, asked to receive their Trump for Vets funds at a location other than one of Mr. Trump’s campaign rallies.  No problem!
Here’s a quick look at what Liberty House’s plans are for their part of the money.

Donald Trump Veterans Airlift Command

Veterans Airlift Command, St. Louis Park, MN

The Veterans Airlift Command is one of those charities you just might never have thought of but which is an absolutely wonderful service available to combat wounded and their families overseas.
Providing free air transportation services for medical and other humanitarian purposes, Veterans Airlift Command offers something people don’t normally consider…. until serious medical care is needed.
You can see how much this great organization got from The Donald J. Trump Foundation here:  Veterans Airlift Command Donors.
As you can see viewing the full list (below) of Donald Trump charity donations from the Trump for Vets event this past January, many others wonderful helpful services have been given a financial lift so that more former military service members, military retirees, and disabled vets can live better lives.
Thank you Donald Trump and to all of those who donated and continue to donate to these and the many other military and veteran groups, all which work to Make America Great Again!

WE LOVE OUR VETS!

Heidi Cruz and George Bush Sr.

Heidi Cruz Explains Her Global Connections and Career Path To It

What’s all this about Heidi Cruz?  Does she have a hidden secret, or is her secret lurking in plain view?  Start looking here, and you see something alright.

Heidi Cruz, current wife of 2016 presidential candidate Ted Cruz, helped form the European Union, has global connections, and has plans to work once again for all she loves in a future White House administration.

How did she get to the heart of the EU?  How did she get the Bush family political connections she did?  What has she been willing to do to be an insider?  Just what really does Ms. Heidi Nelson Cruz have in mind for herself?

I don’t need to explain it to you.  You can hear Heidi say it all herself in an interview she gave at her own Alma mater of Claremont McKenna College in June of 2010.

Here is the video you need to watch to fully understand just how involved Heidi Cruz was in the formation of the European Union and just who she has rubbed elbows with along the way.

The video is approximately 38 minutes long.

Below are notes from the interview, but I suggest you also take your own notes as well.  There are a lot of people named here, and they are all worthy of research, especially if you are one who is concerned about, or studies the ideas of, globalization, the Bible’s description in the Book of Revelation of a “One World Government”, George H.W. Bush’s declaration of a “New World Order”, or you just have a simple interest in the far-reaching professional goals of Heidi Nelson Cruz, with or without her husband Ted… her goal perhaps easier if Ted Cruz DOES win the 2016 presidential election but probably just as likely with another Bush family croney (or even Clinton-Bush representative).

That dream of another job in another White House administration must get clearer and clearer everyday in the mind of Heidi Suzanne Nelson Cruz.

NOTES

Heidi S. NELSON Cruz
Introduced as “becoming a prominent leader in the global investment community”

What she describes as the best things that happened while she was a student at Claremont McKenna College

  1. She studied abroad in Strasbourg, France where she developed her long-term passion for Western Europe
  2. Professor John J. Pitney Jr. who set up a Washington D.C. internship for her
  3. Her senior thesis which helped set her up professionally. She won the Economic prize for “Best Thesis”. Her thesis topic was: Exchange Rate Theories in Eastern Europe.

She enjoyed this thesis topic because it was a technical subject (finances and economics) which could be applied to social politics which is where her interest is.

She describes her thesis area as “Macroeconomics”.

She included the following three economies in her thesis:
1. The Czech Republic
2. Hungary
3. Poland

Professors which served as what she calls “mentors” and whom she still maintains close contact with today are:

  1. Dr. P. Edward Haley (also of the Wilson Center in Washington D.C.)
    2. Dr. John J. Pitney (also a political adviser in the Barack Obama administration)

She notes that Claremont professors she later worked with included:
1. Dr. Edward Haley in Washington D.C. (Dr. Haley = Claremont professor)
2. Dr. S. Brock Blomberg in Washington D.C. (Dr. Blombert = Dean of Robert Day School of Economics, Claremont plus appointments to Federal Reserve in NY, the International Monetary Fund and World Bank, and the President’s Council of Economic Advisers under George W. Bush

*************
Awarded and accepted a Rotary Scholarship 1 year after graduation from Claremont which allowed her to study Eastern European economies while living in Western Europe. The Rotary Scholarship was as a result of her nomination by Dr. P. Edward Haley of Claremont McKenna College (also the Wilson Center in Washington D.C., W.M. Keck Foundation, and Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies.

The questions she worked with were:
1. Could Western Europe integrate countries of Eastern Europe?
2. How could Western Europe create a monetary union and a corresponding political union in that region?

*************
She has worked in both the public and private sector. Which does she like best?

She definitely prefers working in the public sector but also feels “going back and forth between the two” can help her in many ways including knowledge and experience she can take from the private sector into the public sector.

Job path so far includes:
1. Studied international economics and politics
2. J.P. Morgan Chase in New York City (Investment banker)
3. Political assignments by and with George W. Bush
4. Goldman Sachs executive (Investment banker / Private group investments – as in foundations, countries, etc.) She notes in the interview here she has many international clients (countries).

Her current interests are in Emerging Markets, Eastern European Economies, and Western European integration of European Markets.

She has also added experience in Latin emerging markets to her portfolio although it was not of personal choice or desire. (More detail on that below.)

After completing her Rotary Scholarship, she went to work for J. P. Morgan, 60 Wall Street, NYC (the J.P. Morgan Headquarters and also the American headquarters of Deutsche Bank).

She wanted to work with emerging markets of Eastern Europe but knew she could only do that in London. However, she felt it was a better career move for her to be in New York, (calling it a “keen” decision career wise), so she accepted the job of working with emerging markets of Latin countries.

She felt working in New York City would give her the inroads to getting into leadership opportunities in the financial community, so she began her work at the J.P. Morgan Bank as an economic expert in Latin American Emerging Markets.

While in New York and at J.P. Morgan there, she began working with:

Robert Zoellick (you hear her call him Bob or bob Zoellick), later in the George W. Bush administration)

*************

After J.P. Morgan, she was offered a paid position working with the George W. Bush campaign and made a “calculated risk” to take that believing it would be a good career move for her down the road.

She stresses how her training at Claremont McKenna College taught her how to assess a risky choice and if a good risk, to take advantage of a good situation that can be useful to one’s career later.

She felt working for George W. Bush, at such a high level political level, would benefit her politically down the road and at least give her good returns for her work.

On her first day working for George W. Bush Transition team in Florida and working directly under Robert “Bob” Zoellick, she wanted to make it clear she would go above and beyond whatever it took for those she worked for, so she went to “Bob” and told him that whatever he needed from her, she would do. (This is as her story in her own words. See video if desired).

She felt that a person like her with her training and a “newly minted MBA from Harvard like her” would be asked to sit in with him to discuss finances and monetary issues. Instead, “Bob” Zoellick said “Well then, I need juice and bread from the store”.

While feeling insulted (as she described) that someone like her would be asked to do something so menial, she said she soon came to realize he was making a point… that he wanted to know if she really WOULD do anything at all he asked her to do.

So she went to the grocery store and got him some juice and bread.

He had a similar request of her the second day, and she obliged by following exactly what he wanted her to do.

The third day, he asked her to come into confidential discussions, and she was included in all financial discussions after that point.

When Robert “Bob” Zoellick was appointed to George W. Bush’s administration, she was the first person he called to have him join him.

She emphasized that if you want your career to advance… if you want to get ahead professionally… you need to be willing to do anything for the one who can advance your career.

Listen to her tell the story on the video below.

***********

Personal Segment:

  1. She is the child of 7th Day Adventist Missionaries.
  2. She grew up in 3rd World Africa.
  3. She said growing up in such an environment helped her to develop into a “service minded” individual. She feels she is service minded.
  4. Her brother is (at that time) the head of a hospital in the Dominican Republic.
  5. Her charity of choice is “Living Waters”. This is an organization out of Houston, Texas which uses obsolete Amico drilling equipment to drill water wells in impoverished African countries. She had just recently served as a board member for Living Waters but with a three year time limit, she was then serving on the organization’s “Advisory Committee” before returning to her board member position again.

She mentioned she “makes sure the organization is well funded” at all times.

**************

What She Currently Does at Goldman Sachs: (at the time of the interview)

She works directly with clients assets, particularly the assets of international clients.

Her particular group focuses on portfolios.

Her division has a “broad impact on particular parts of the world”.

*************
What Did She Get to do While in Washington D.C. Working for George W. Bush?

She had two kinds of work:

The first:
Working directly with the executive branch and sometimes directly with President Bush by:
A.) developing and presenting economic policies in regards to Latin American countries and,
B.) Preparing and presenting recommended trade agreements to be presented to America’s Latin American neighbors.

The second:
Educating and influencing Congress.
She says it is a game there, but you have to prepare them so they can all play the game.

During her time in Washington D.C., she worked directly and closely with:

  1. Robert Zoellick ( United States Deputy Secretary of State for George W. Bush administration)
  2. John Taylor, the “Under Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs” during the first term of the George W. Bush Administration, a member of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors during the George H. W. Bush Administration, and Senior Economist at the Council of Economic Advisers during the Ford and Carter Administrations.

hen asked which she liked better, working with the Congress or working with the Executive Branch, Heidi Nelson Cruz says she definitely liked working in the Executive Branch much bette

She gives her reason why by saying – Congress doesn’t have that much power really since there is always a veto in sight, but when you are in the White House, you are the elected party, (she pauses)…. and you can “make things move the way you want them to move”… and THAT… she says… was “fun”.

See video to hear the above answer.

**************
Final Topic:

Does she feel there is a place for “idealism” in politics?

She answers a definitive “Yes” but then goes on to clarify that idealism is what you use to motivate people but that idealism itself should never get in the way of moving forward in a bi-partisan way.

Idealism, she adds, in and of itself, is bi-partisan. With it, an individual politician can motivate people to do all sorts of things. It just can’t get in the way of getting real things done.

END OF NOTES

As you can see from Heidi’s career advice to the current student body at her old Alma Mater (in the interview above):

If you want to advance your career, “you need to be willing to do ANYTHING for the one who can advance your career”.

The above quote by Heidi Cruz referenced what she did with Robert Zoellick (aka Bob Zoellick) as she was trying to earn her way into the George W. Bush White House Administration through Mr. Zoellick.

Do you think Heidi Cruz has determined her career pathway now rests in the odds she gave to the Bush family helping her and her husband Ted, or is she standing firm in her husband’s “anti-DC rhetoric”?

After all, you can’t let idealism get in the way of getting what you want now, can you?

Never Trump Boneheads Search For A Third Party Knucklehead

Seeking a politician willing to overlook American people and principles to run as a 3rd party candidate.  Guaranteed 15 minutes of fame.  Interested?  Read on.

It will never happen.

Oh, an Angry Birds Party 3rd party run via the #NeverTrump AKA #StopTrump part of the Republican Party could happen, but even the “Stop Trump Movement” folk have no intention of a president coming out of such a national ordeal.  They expect to get 10% of the Republican vote, perhaps 15% of the vote at most, (more likely much less by that time though)… just enough to possibly cut into a Republican Party win to hopefully secure a Democrat win.

So no winning expected or planned on this side.  They just want to… shall we say…. stop Trump.

The idea?

If…

1  The Bush operatives and little man Mitt Romney can not manage to rally what they perceive as stupid voters against Donald Trump,

or

2  Donald Trump somehow, through what they seem to see as God’s lack of oversight, has the number of delegates to win by the Republican Party convention in Cleveland, Ohio

or

3  The RNC loses the battle through honest delegates

….. then a rag tag bunch of misfits, the intellectual conservatives whom the establishment GOP never really adopted anyway, will rise up, show their teeth, and remove all opportunity of the Republican Party or even of the American people winning against Hillary Clinton (or whoever else the Democrats might insert if Hillary goes to prison before their convention).

Sure, the Angry Birds Party members know they won’t win.  That’s not the point.  The point is they just don’t like what they’ve got right now.  These angry birds are going to show everyone how angry THEY are now.

The Republican Party has never taken them seriously before, and now they have let a Donald Trump candidate bust in, bring the hearts of normal American people with them (from all walks of life, mind you), and, if the path continues as is, will actually have that Donald Trump person on their ticket.

Oh yes, they are angry birds that make up this Angry Bird Party!

I’m not sure what self-respecting public servant would come in for a no win angry agenda, but the Stop Trump organization is sure looking, and they have three ideas so far they have been checking in with.

The three names being tossed around for their unwinning 3rd party run by this group of angry-birds-angry-at-the-angry voters voting for Trump are as follows:

Rick Perry

Tom Coburn

Gary Johnson

Yea, I saved Gary Johnson for last because I just wanted to watch you all laugh over supposedly “conservative” Republicans running Gary Johnson as their “conservative Republican candidate”.

So what do these three 3rd party prospects have to say about this group’s kamikaze politician proposal of running a 3rd party candidate to hurt the Republican Party and relinquish the presidency to Hillary?

#1 Rick Perry

And Rick Perry says:

No thank you.  I’ll stand with Donald Trump.

Rick Perry, apparently the most sane and perhaps future-minded of those being courted right now, seems to have some honor left in him.  Governor Perry told Nick Riccardi of the Associated Press that he would support Donald Trump as the nominee.

I’m kind of thinking Governor Perry also might be a little annoyed this group would only want him to sacrifice himself when there was no chance to win, a humiliating position when this same group COULD have stood by him when Governor Perry may actually have been able to have had a REAL chance.

Thus… this tweet by the 2016 Rick Perry campaign manager Jeff Miller:

Jeff Miller also tweeted this out regarding Rick Perry and his aversion to any 3rd Party run:

OK, well Perry is still pushing Ted Cruz for now, but you know, he kind of has to for a while more at least.

The important part is that Rick Perry scoffed at the losing 3rd party run idea and declared his pledge to stick with the Republican Party even under Donald Trump’s leadership.

Let’s chalk one up to Rick Perry for sticking with the Republican Party and even Donald Trump should Mr. Trump be the GOP nominee.

Governor, you are showing at least some character in this instance and have won back at least some of the support I lost for you when you jumped in to help Ted Cruz as a Stop Trump action in Iowa (and only Iowa so you first thought).

Hey Governor Perry, put the past behind you and go help make America great again by helping Donald Trump during these next few years.  You could still do something for America, and you would be a great asset in helping usher in America’s better and maybe even best years to come.

The point is, the very fact that you had enough sense and courage to say no to the vultures means that the more noble Rick Perry we all thought we knew may still just be there.

Mr. Trump, would you talk with Rick Perry if he called you?  Just don’t mention his glasses, Mr. Trump.  Please let that part be unspoken, ok?  Thank you, sir.

#2  Tom Coburn

And Tom Coburn says:

Well, I don’t really want to run, but I really don’t want the Republican Party to win with Donald Trump either.  So…..  well……  maybe.

While the Angry Birds Party would rather have a 3rd party run with Governor Rick Perry instead of Senator Coburn, Senator Coburn made it clear to Hot Air’s Allapundit that he would certainly vote for any 3rd party nominee to bust the Republican Party’s chances of winning.

As for being their candidate, he really was not wanting to run, but he has told friends he would be open to running if the AB Party (aka Angry Birds Party) really needed him to run.

This just doesn’t sound quite like a home run losing 3rd party campaign to me, guys.  The guy really doesn’t want to put the couple of months invested into losing one for the Gipper even!

You can read Tom Coburn’s openness for running in the Mayhem2016 ticket here:

Report:  Tom Coburn tells allies he’s open to leading a conservative third-party challenge to Trump

#3 Gary Johnson

And Gary Johnson was heard saying:

Have you seen my dog anywhere lately?

Good job finding some intellectual conservatives to run for you there, Angry Birds.

The first one says he’ll vote for Donald Trump.

The second one just really doesn’t want to put the work into it.

The third has lost his dog.

So…

I guess the job search is still on for someone, anyone to run as a first rate 3rd party LOSER.

It’s funny how Donald Trump seems to have picked just the right word for some of the people in politics today.

However, if you are interested in 15 minutes of notorious fame, there seems to still be an opening!

Losers, apply at Loser Angry Birds dot com.

Winners, go directly to the voting booth and vote for Donald Trump.

Rick Perry Immigration

Rick Perry’s Big Shocker At The Voters First Forum

Rick Perry Immigration Flag

Did you see the 2016 Republican Candidates “Voters First Forum” in Manchester, New Hampshire last night?

It may have been your typical 14-candidate Republican presidential forum had it not been for…  oh….  say…. 14 big-as-life presidential candidates.

However, while two hours for 14 candidates did indeed limit the time each of the 14 candidates had to introduce themselves to the world,  one candidate used his time to reveal something everyone has been wanting to hear but never thought they would.

Rick Perry, Governor of the Great (Border) State of Texas for 14 years and now GOP presidential hopeful, calmly and coolly unveiled his plans for fixing our country’s growing problem of illegals living within the nation’s borders.

Of course, you know Rick Perry didn’t go into that without first reminding everyone that it was the duty of our federal government to secure our borders first and foremost.

The quiet little shocker came when Jack Heath, the moderator for the Republican forum, asked Governor Perry what the future was for immigration now that we have so many illegals in our country right now.

That’s when we all got the shocker.

FINALLY, someone was willing to speak about what to do with all those illegal immigrants we have living in the shadows right now.

Governor Perry presented what appears to soon be his proposed plan for illegals here in the U.S., and here it is in a nutshell.

Hey, a nutshell is all you get in a two hour forum with 14 presidential candidates.

Rick Perry’s In-A-Nutshell Immigration Shocker

First and foremost once again, secure our borders.

Then:

1.  Fix and adequately staff our U.S. Immigration Service agency to prepare and equip them for the large and important role they will be involved with in these next few years.

2.  Find the illegals in our land; assess the workforce we need in our country, and determine if non-citizen workers will receive new or extended Visas for their work situation.

3.  Deport those who do not have a U.S. Visa.

Wow.  We’re talking about an organized system of searching, discovering, and recording.

Great.  We’re looking at what is good for America, not what is nice to do for someone of another country.

That’s right.  We’re giving Visas, not citizenship rights.

Even more.  We’ll be saying adios to those individuals who just should not be here or who may endanger American citizens and legal visitors here.

Perfect.  There seems to be a reasonable way to work through what has become a huge problem in our country, all done without declaring the utter forgiveness that comes with amnesty but yet all with a plan of action that puts the people and the situation we’ve got into a proper perspective.

Will dealing with the nation’s illegal problem create a challenge for new immigration requests coming through the traditional (legal) immigration route?

Governor Perry conceded that we have to see exactly where we are right now to know what other changes, if any, might need to be considered to maintain our current legal immigration process at a good pace.

Fair enough to start, Governor Perry, especially since you only had about 4-1/2 minutes to speak at that time.

So there you go folk.  It was as simple as 1, 2, 3 and as quick as one minute of time between minute 2:30 to minute 3:30 of Rick Perry’s 4:42 minute time period in the forum there.

We got the shocker unveiling last night.

Bravo, Governor Perry for being bold enough to speak of this issue.

See, it wasn’t so bad after all now, was it?  You just made yourself transparent; you were honest, and you gave us your thoughts on this  problem knowing we may or may not be happy with your proposed solutions right now.

That was gutsy, Governor Perry.

You see, we’ve been waiting to see if anyone would be strong enough to talk to us frustrated, disappointed, maybe angry, and definitely hard-to-please people about this, to see who would give us voters a try and then to take whatever comes your way in doing so.

Turned out you were the strong one this time, Governor Perry.

And you see, some of us figured, or at least we hoped, you had something good to say.

Turned out, we were right.

You can see Governor Rick Perry at the 2016 Republican Candidates “Voters First Forum” here:

Social Media Marketing for Presidential Campaigns

Social Media Marketing for Presidential Candidates

Don’t just stand there and take it.

Take it to social media!

I am not employed as a political social media marketing specialist, but I use social media marketing a lot in my work, and I am a presidential candidate supporter.

I know what it is like to do a Google search (or Bing search, Yahoo search, you-name-it search) for a candidate, only to see the horrific articles about my beloved candidate first in those search results while noting the best of the best articles about my best of the best candidate seem somehow hidden from view.  It can get frustrating.  I know it can.

Fortunately, although I am not a political consultant or even a part of a professional social media marketing firm, I have wisely studied social media marketing tools and other online marketing tools as a writer and blogger.  With that training and experience, I think I have a few things I can say to help the typical “citizen supporter” get a better image of their candidate on the internet and especially in those higher search engine results.

Here are some of the best steps you can take as an average, typical American human being to help make your better-than-average American presidential candidate get the best search results on Google et al.

Be active in all or as many of the most popular social networking sites you can.

Posting in Facebook, liking articles in Facebook, even sharing on Facebook will help your candidate some, but if that is all you and your fellow supporters do, you will never see your candidate rise to the top of search engine results.

You are doing even less if all your liking and posts remain inside your own groups.

Why?

Because Google and other search engines look at how popular something is throughout ALL social media sites, not just Facebook!

Google takes the presence of an article, site, keyword, person, or topic throughout numerous social networking sites as an indication of whether an article, issue, topic, or individual (as in your candidate) is worthy of showing at the top of their search engine results.

For instance, the more prevalent an article is around numerous social sites, the more those engine computers believe that article must be a really good read, a precursor to that computer boosting the importance of that article in its search results.

If you want to raise your candidate’s status in the land of search engines and see those best articles about your candidate bursting through the other candidates there, keep posting and liking in Facebook. sure, but start posting and sharing in other networking sites too – and I mean BIG TIME start doing that.

Some of the best social networking sites right now according to eBizMBA dot com include:

Facebook

Still #1 in Social Media.  Just don’t let it be your only one because it IS only just one out of many.

Twitter

Twitter is a journalist’s and blogger’s best friend to first get their new articles out, so get in there and find out what they are posting, and start re-tweeting the articles that get those best articles on your candidate out for immediate site traffic.  That raises ranking.

Don’t waste as much time tweeting negative comments about your candidate’s opponents right now.  That’s hard for me to say since I love a good vetting.   However, if your goal is to get YOUR candidate up in the search engine results, promote your candidate’s positive articles, photos, videos etc., spend the majority of your time now raising the popularity of YOUR candidate’s great articles.

By the way, tweeting those good articles and videos, etc out at a later time is good as well, helping to tell search engines that they really are worthy articles worth reading.

However, getting those early postings of new articles, photos, videos, etc representing your candidate well is a crucial step in getting search engines to pick up on those things as worth other’s time, thus showing well on your candidate.

LinkedIn

Did you know you can share articles with your LinkedIn connections?  Search engines seem to pick up really well on articles that are posted on LinkedIn.

Just be mindful of the fact that LinkedIn is more for professionals and job seekers who are more interested in networking with other professionals or employers.  They certainly don’t mind good articles, even political ones.  Just be careful not to overload the users of LinkedIn, and post articles you think might best speak to those LinkedIn users.

Pinterest

Pin those good articles on your own Pinterest board named for your candidate!  Search engines sometimes pick up on Pinterest pins before they pick up Facebook posts, adding both traffic and search engine activity of those articles pinned.

Plus…  Pinterest is really popular these days.  Add your friends to your Pinterest acocunt (a lot like adding Facebook friends), and make your Pinterest board public then too, and you’ll reach a LOT of people.

Plus…  Pinterest is FUN.

Google Plus (aka Google+)

Personally, I have found those article I have posted to my Google+ account almost always get in the top 10 of Google’s search engine results.  Usually, they are in the top 5.  Google loves their own Google accounts, I guess!

This is your opportunity to use the Google computer’s nosiness to your advantage!

Tumblr

How do you think Barack Obama and the Democrats are reaching young adults?  They are making use of the popularity of Tumblr with young adults.

If you are older, don’t worry that this social platform is popular with the “youngins”.  It is easy to use and just right for anyone.  It’s just that young people like the updated almost-pinterest-style look where they can quickly and visually follow topics of interest, blogs, articles, and write their own little mini-blog entries themselves, all without a literal blog to take care of.

Instagram

If your candidate is not putting a major effort into Instagram, encourage him or her to do so.  Then you need to follow that account and pass those photos on.

Our society is very visual, and life is busy.  You need to be getting as many photos of your candidate or his or her campaign plastered all over the place.

First they see.  Then they seek.

Complain all you want about the lesser importance of books these days, but then forget it and use your time to start posting and networking on Instagram where you will reach a ton of people and probably many of those voters who are between the ages of 25 to 40.

You can see these top social networking sites 2015 and more here:

Most Popular Social Networking Sites

Promote specific articles and videos on or from these social media outlets:

StumbleUpon

Anyone with a SumbleUpon account can add an article to StumbleUpon.  When you add your article, you will be asked to label it under a specific category.  Well, you are in luck.  StumbleUpon has a politics category!

Your article or photo gets passed on to anyone with a similar interest and with enough time on a given night to just chill out and literally SURF the web.

Check our StumbleUpon’s politics category at this given moment. If it looks interesting, don’t blink your eyes.  It will be totally different in the next.

http://www.stumbleupon.com/interest/politics

Get a StumbleUpon account.  I suggest getting the StumbleUpon bar too so it is easy to give a good article a thumbs up.  Check some of the interests you personally have so you will enjoy your time there at StumbleUpon, (you’ll see articles and photos that others have added which correspond with your checked interests); add some articles about your candidate, and (this last step is important) click “Stumble” to see other articles StumbleUpon thinks you might like right after you submit the article you wanted to add. Make sure you click the thumb up for good ones.

It has always seemed to me that I get more traffic from StumbleUpon when I am clicking others’ submissions after I add something than when I just add an article and walk away.

And just so you know, you do not have to have your own authored article to add to StumbleUpon.  You can add any article or photo or video, and as many as want too.   And others can add those same things.

Add articles to StumbleUpon; get almost immediate traffic to those articles; and you will make a big headway in getting that article pushed higher up in the search engine results.

YouTube

If you see a video that represents your presidential candidate well, do not just look at it from a Facebook post and like it in Facebook.  While that is well and good, you need to promote that video for your candidate!

If you have never registered for your own YouTube account yet, do so now.  You do not need to have your own videos to upload to have an account on YouTube.  Having an account there gives you a wide range of abilities to watch other’s videos, save them, save them in your own categories or your own playlists, like them, comment on them, and if you have a Google+ account, even share them with the click of a button onto your Google plus account.

And remember, Google likes Google plus accounts, and anything there is more likely to be moved up the Google search engine rank (and consequently the list people see when they do a Google search).

Get to know new social media networking sites too, and see if any of them offer an environment where you can develop a social media strategy for your candidate.

Some new social media networks include:

Snapchat

You can take a quick snap of a video or photo, add a quick caption to it, and share your find with a friend.

Don’t think it’s worth it?

Check out Time’s article on how the Democrats think Snapchat will be its path to the White House.  (Disclaimer:  I added the word”Democrats” above.)

Vine

You can loop up to six videos together here.

Even the Republicans are beginning to see the use of short videos in building images in politics.

_________

Every supporter of your candidate needs to be actively posting, commenting (if appropriate), liking, and sharing in MORE THAN ONE social media networking site if you want your candidate to have the upper hand in search engine results.

Every supporter of your candidate, or at least as close to every one as possible, should be actively adding good media involving your candidate to AT LEAST 3 to 5 social sites if you want to get your candidate seen positively on the web.

__________

Write comments on the webpages of good articles themselves and add a URL to a related article about your candidate when possible.

You can “like” articles on Facebook a hundred times and even comment on Facebook threads that have an article that shows well for your candidate, and those actions count some in helping boost those articles and the specific keywords used in those articles.

However, your likes and comments will have a ton more weight with search engine results if you like and comment those articles right on the webpages where they were written and published.

Every time you like an article right on the article’s page (at the article’s URL), and every time you comment right on the page where the article itself is written, search engines read that as extraordinary interest in that article or those keywords, and they will consider that article and the keywords in it as more important, better written, of more interest, and more noteworthy to put in their higher search results.

If you have a place to add your website URL or another URL when submitting your comment, enter any webpage URL about your candidate, (it does NOT have to be anything of your own), ESPECIALLY one that is related in some way to the topic of the article you are making a comment on.  Oddly enough, by adding an article URL of related interest in your comment, it gives both articles something called “authority” in the search engines, and authority gets an article higher in those search engines.

When you add a related URL link to your online comments on a blog or website, you are not only helping to increase the rating of that page (that article you just wrote on),  you are improving the rating of the related article (the URL you just added with your comment)!   It is a double win.

Just remember, you can add any website URL to your comment, but the more closely related it is to the topic of that article on that page, the more the search engines will see that URL in your comment as worthy of boosting both articles in search results.

Speaking of comments on blogs and articles, make sure you also sometimes write comments of thanks to an author, writer, or blogger who has served your candidate or his or her issues well.

The more those writers know they are on the right track…  the more those bloggers know their work is appreciated…  the more you just simply comment on articles – period – the more likely you are to see that person do more of the same.

I don’t mean to make us writing folk here sound self-centered, but hey, writers are people too.  We all want to know what we are doing is actually being read and is important to someone.

It feels doubly good when we can help.

If good writing featuring your candidate is important to you, and you want to see more of it, let those who help create those good things know you are there and actively engaged right alongside of them.

Then YOU get busy with your very own social media marketing strategy to help get those articles and your candidate high in those search results.

You’ll all be rewarded in the end.

Breitbart News with a B

Breitbart’s Rick Perry TPP Dilemma

What IS is with Rick Perry, TPP (the Trans Pacific Partnership) and the Breitbart News Network?

Can that news network just not get it right?  Are they covering for an irresponsible journalist named Alex Swoyer, or are they “secretly” dealing with her – my choice of the word “secret” which seems so fitting for a Breitbart published author who seems to think every move Governor Rick Perry does is in “secret”.

Here’s the problematic scenario Breitbart’s news agency has gotten itself into with Alex Swoyer’s articles.  Just take a secret peek here.

Rick Perry secretly likes the TPP.  (A mis-characterization, by the way)

Rick Perry secretly doesn’t like TPP now.  (Probably said in just a little bit of a silly way, don’t you think, Ms. Secret Admirer Swoyer?).

Rick Perry secretly changed his mind about the TPP.  (If he didn’t want it before, and he doesn’t want it today, it is NO secret that there has been bad reporting all around that news agency recently.)

Well, I’m not so secretive, Ms. Alex Swoyer.

I think your writing sucks, and I’m wondering what to think of Breitbart News Network right now because of you.

You all saw the article a while back that was written by an Alex Swoyer where Ms. Swoyer claimed Governor Rick Perry, the 14-year governor of Texas and now Republican Presidential candidate, came out in support of “President Barack Obama’s secret trade deal”

Obama’s secret trade deal, huh?  Governor Perry and Barack Obama, huh?

Well, you know… that was the phrase-of-the-day when Ms. Swoyer wrote her little unfortunately awkward misrepresentation-of-truth hit piece which, quite frankly, I believe she is trying to bury now in her newest hit piece today at Breitbart today.

Ms. Alex Swoyer of Breitbart News, are you secretly changing Rick Perry’s mind without his knowledge?  You really didn’t need to do that had you been truthful about Governor Perry and TPP to begin with in your first not-so-secretly mishandled article last month.

President Barack Obama’s secret trade deal and a Rick Perry love fest to go with it – Oh how grand it must have seemed at the time to write an article like that which could be “secretly” written in such a “secret” way as to “secretly” change something (like Rick Perry being a proponent of free trade) into something that was……..  secret.

After all, you must have been thinking back then… NO one in their right “right” mind would want a “right” candidate to actually support giving all authority to Barack Obama.

Oh hey, Alex Swoyer, Ted Cruz did vote for Barack Obama’s trade deals, and he did know what was in those documents when he did, didn’t he.  But that was a secret to you last month though, wasn’t it?

It must have just seemed – last month anyway – like such a secretly clever way to knock Rick Perry out of the running, telling everyone Rick Perry wanted to jump in bed with Barack Obama’s idea of “trade” (and whatever else Barack Obama was secretly hiding from everyone at the time.)

Yea, it probably seemed like a good scheme (unless you are stupid).

We all saw, Ms. Swoyer.  We saw, and many of us let you know we saw.  It was NO SECRET we saw.

So you wrote another piece today which sort of, kind of, well DID let everyone know that …. well, Rick Perry doesn’t support the TPP, but really, he changed his mind “in secret”.

OK now.  We’re all good.  So now we know one of the most fiscally-conservative and economically-successful governors of all American history does not support President Barack Obama’s “secret trade deal”.

We’re good.  Go home.  Leave me alone now, people.

Well, I’ve got a secret.

We are NOT good, and we are NOT going home.

We want to know what Breitbart News Media is going to do with you now, Ms. Alex Swoyer.

Furthermore, we are going to take what your publishers do into consideration as we determine whether or not to trust anything you or your editors and publishers say to us from this point on.

Breitbart News Media, what are you going to to about a writer who so distorts stories that even common folk like this writer can easily see the distortions.

Gosh Big B, this stuff and this author should be SO below you.

Or are they?

We all want to know.

Here is the first hack job article Ms. Swoyer put together.  You know, it’s the article where she so irresponsibly told the world Rick Perry supported the secret deals of the secret president who was making secret plans with secret countries:

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/05/07/rick-perry-comes-out-in-favor-of-obama-trade-deal/

Here is the original response Caleb’s Report published regarding the above ridiculous (and poorly written) Breitbart article:

Rick Perry and TPP and My Not-So-Secret Thoughts About Breitbart Big Government:

http://calebsreport.com/rick-perry-on-tpp-and-my-not-so-secret-thoughts-about-breitbart-big-government/

Oh how funny!

I just noticed I used the word “secret” in that original response which was written about a month ago today!

Now Ms. Swoyer, did you use my secret word as you wrote your secret story today about the secret thought processes of Governor Rick Perry secret-even-to-him mind change (that really wasn’t a secret mind change since he did not support TPP to being with)?

Yes?  You liked my secret word, huh?

Well, thanks, but no thanks.

It’s funny though (in a secretive sort of way).

And going on, here is Ms. Alex Swoyer’s new article that was published just today, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at The Big B website.

The title:  “Admid Secrecy, Since I’m in Trouble At Breitbart’s Big Gov Website for Such Bad Conspiratorial Writing That Even Ding Bats Saw What I Did, I’m Secretly Changing Rick Perry’s Mind Now”.

Oh no, that was the other article I was just reading.

Here is Alex Swoyer’s new, not-so-secret attempt at journalism today:

Amid Secrecy, Rick Perry Retracts Obamatrade Support: ‘I Would Rather Barack Obama Not Be Negotiating For Me’, (tried-to-be Written by Alex Swoyer)

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/06/10/amid-secrecy-rick-perry-retracts-obamatrade-support-i-would-rather-barack-obama-not-be-negotiating-for-me/

Well, at least the gal got part of it right this time.   I think we all know someone like Governor Rick Perry would never want the results of Barack Obama’s “secret trade deals”.  That would be NO SECRET.

Come to think of it, that would not have been a secret last month either now, would it?

Got cha there, Ms. Swoyer,

What are you going to do about her, Big B?

What are you going to do?

Can I share with you readers here what I think might be a good thing for you to do?

I would go to that most current Alex Swoyer / Breitbart article there, you know, the “secret” one published on June 10, 2015, and let them know you do not appreciate this kind of reckless writing.

Below is the comment I posted at the very end of Alex Swoyer’s article at:

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/06/10/amid-secrecy-rick-perry-retracts-obamatrade-support-i-would-rather-barack-obama-not-be-negotiating-for-me/

Comments:

Caleb”s Report • an hour ago

Ms. Swoyer, you tried a month or so ago to misconstrue Governor Perry’s support of trade agreements into support of what was being written and then proposed to Congress at that time, a process Governor Perry was not involved with and documents of which he personally had no knowledge of at that time. While the governor may support trade agreements between states and nations to benefit the American economy and individual states of The United States, and while he appears to encourage the development of trade agreements between nations and states, to misrepresent his defense, rejection, support, non-support, or any other thoughts or reactions of the specific agreement on hand at that time was irresponsible journalism. Now with this article and seeing a “piling on” of additional deception and misrepresentations based on the first bit of deception and misrepresentations, we need to wonder if your spotty journalism in that earlier Breitbart article, an article easily seen as angled and full of falsehoods, was cause for concern to your Breitbart publishers or was left alone by them signifying a fall in the journalistic professionalism of a major portion of the Breitbart media group. In other words: your FIRST deceptive article on Governor Perry and TPP is now followed by yet another irresponsibly-written article using bad logic. Many can see what you are doing, and just so others not aware yet, here is what that is, Ms. Swoyer: You say Governor Perry first supported TPP and now does not, and this article is somehow supposed to give the impression Governor Perry is some kind of “flip flopper”. The problem is, Ms. Swoyer, Governor Perry NEVER SAID he supported the deal that was being negotiated and worked out away from his knowledge and presence. What can we conclude from this? That your lies from your first misrepresentation of Governor Perry and TPP are now tripping you up. I would suggest you either get yourself in line with the truth or get better with your lies if you want to keep any reputable job in a reputable media outlet. I am sure we all (including Breitbart I hope) would prefer you just start being honest instead of getting better at lying, but at least know you are not doing either very well right now, and it is showing.

(END OF COMMENT)

Oh what joy it was to see people immediately clicking the “up” button on that comment at Breitbart article to show their support of that comment.

Oh no surprise that comment went missing just a few minutes later.

I guess it is no “secret” now that Breitbart censors good folk who do not like stupid articles that are based on the best Universal Studio plots possible in some semi-writer’s mind.

Well, keep this not-so secret in mind, Big B.  Either plot little Ms. Swoyer into a corner for time out, fire her, or at least make sure some decently truthful editors there secretly proof-read her silliness so she doesn’t make YOU look silly and unprofessional alongside her.

This is getting really old.

Rick Perry on TPP and My Not-So-Secret Thoughts About Breitbart Big Government

May 13, 2015

From what I can tell, the original story that planted the idea that Rick Perry stood in support of the TPP (more formally known as the Trans Pacific Partnership) was a May 7, 2015 article from Brietbart which claimed that (quote unquote)

“Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry came out in favor of President Barack Obama’s secret trade deal on Thursday”.

That same Breitbart article went on to give the source for their declaration of Rick Perry’s stand on the Trans Pacific Partnership.

This excerpt follows the above excerpt in that same Breitbart article:

“Through Gov. Perry’s leadership, Texas has been the largest exporting state in the country for the past 13 years in a row,” Perry spokesman Travis Considine said in emailed statement. “Gov. Perry has always supported free trade and its positive impact on economic growth and job creation. He believes America can achieve robust economic growth and job creation, similar to what has occurred in Texas, with trade agreements like the Trans Pacific Partnership.”

You can see the entire article on Breitbart’s Big Government website here:

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/05/07/rick-perry-comes-out-in-favor-of-obama-trade-deal/

First off, it appears to me the Breitbart article is showing a parsing of words aimed to misrepresent its readers by using Governor Perry’s support of free trade and the development of trade agreements by countries and states as a (huge) stepping stone to create its own wished-for political weapon.  If one were to accept the absence of credibility in making a connection between a fiscally and economically conservative platform and a slobbering love affair with a progressive Democrat administration, a trusting reader might just believe this conservative governor from the State of Texas might fall all over and backwards too for Barack Obama’s plans and policies.

If a reader were to consider the non-nonsensical and suspicious fallacy of that connection, they might just scratch their head and begin to wonder if they can still trust the source that just made such a bad move.

By portending the phrase “like the Trans Pacific Partnership” to mean Governor Perry supports the exact deal coming out of the White House Administration and any secretive agreements by Barack Obama… or any agreements at all by unknown individuals still yet to come…  Breitbart’s Big Government website seems to have gone just a little too far out of the land of reasonable deductions and into the land of Disney’s Magical Kingdom of Fantasy.

Of course, Governor Perry supports the idea of free trade.  A socialist who wants America’s growth and economy to die may come out in opposition of a our nation or its states having the freedom to engage in trade considerations and agreements.

Governor Rick Perry, at least as far as any and all appearances, is not one who is on board with a lack of freedom and opportunities for economic growth nor has he ever indicated he likes the idea that this current president, a president who has tremendously slowed economic growth in this nation, could do whatever he wanted.

Instead, Governor Rick Perry has been a major part of the economic growth in his own state’s economy, working with other states and countries on trade arrangements.  Furthermore, he has spoken with other states and countries about the benefits they can reap too if they would open themselves to conservative economic practices that work.  It would make much more sense to assume Rick Perry stands for economic growth and development overall than it does to even remotely believe Rick Perry supports secretive deals and arrangements solely determined by Barack Obama.

OK Big B, you can make the assumption Rick Perry supports the development of economic trade around this country and around the world.

Does that mean Governor Rick Perry supports a bill that had, at the time of your publication, not even been produced for full viewing as yet? Of course not.

Does that mean Governor Perry was already taking a stand of support for an entire depository collection of policies in a bill that might obscure the nation’s or state’s rights in favor of potential federal executive overreach? Anyone who knows Rick Perry would tell you that was just a silly and gross misstatement.

Does that mean Rick Perry would accept the current compilation of deals and policies specific to the current idea known as Barack Obama’s Trans Pacific Partnership, otherwise known as TPP. also otherwise known as Barack Obama’s secret trade deals?

Of course not, and to make such a blatantly ludicrous connection is totally misleading at best and deceptive and deceitful at worst.

Now the Breitbart article mentions “an email” by Perry spokesperson Travis Considine as its journalist source for their claim that Rick Perry supports the Trans Pacific Partnership.

Breitbart never offered a copy of that email along with its claim, and I can not find anything in public records, documents, or news clippings displaying evidence which would indicate Rick Perry supports the Trans Pacific Partnership in its current form.

Oh that’s right… Breitbart says Governor Perry’s spokesman sent an email that confirms Governor Perry supports TRADE.

In Breitbart’s defense, Governor Perry’s spokesman did indeed appear to list the Trans Pacific Partnership as a trade agreement idea among the many free trade ideas throughout America’s history though.

The problem here is that Breitbart did not conclude that Governor Perry is a proponent of trade and the magnificent, very-American ability of the United States or a U.S. state to participate in business that, if deemed worthy of America’s vote, could help build a nation’s or state’s economy.

No indeed. Breitbart goes further by jumping all the way to a false representation that Governor Rick Perry is all out for Barack Obama and/or any secretive plans Barack Obama has somehow made in … well.. secret.

Again, to quote the Breitbart publication:

Brietbart said on May 7, 2015:

” Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry came out in favor of President Barack Obama’s secret trade deal on Thursday”.

OK, Big B,  your report on May 7, the date the Breitbart  Big Government website claims Rick Perry came out in support of “Obama’s secret deal”, I found the op-ed Rick Perry himself had written explaining why he could no long support the Export Import Bank of The United States (sometimes seen written as the Ex-Im Bank), Perry’s recent change due to growing corruption in the bank and Governor Perry’s principled belief that funds should not go to entities displaying a corrupt or deceitful nature.

I did also discover that during a speech in Japan on September 8, 2014, Rick Perry encouraged trade and the benefits of the conservative values that drive free trade.

Here is some of what Governor Perry said that day in 2014:

“We’re open to the world. People like what they see in Texas and that includes quite a few men and women from Japan who are doing business in our state,” Gov. Perry said. “Our economy in Texas is thriving because of our open and optimistic attitude and because we’ve implemented conservative policies that have allowed the private sector to grow and create jobs.”

Governor Perry also goes on to say he supports continued efforts on a Trans Pacific Partnership agreement which would permit economies to interact with one another.

An excerpt from that same article says:

Gov. Perry also used the speech to call for continued work toward agreement on the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

End of excerpt.

See that conversation here:

http://www.yourglenrosetx.com/news/state/article_888dede7-adf7-5be1-9a6b-e9fb55d0467d.html

Gasp that Rick Perry mentioned the trade policy of which the United States was trying to write and formulate at that time.

Oh double gasp that economies following the conservative principles of free trade and economic growth should be willing to try to find ways to cooperate so that each prosper.

Again, it would seem safe to assume Governor Perry supports conservative principles of free trade. I believe we could also probably safely assume Rick Perry would support the freedom of individual nations and individual states seeking their own ways to be involved in economic arrangements that would benefit their own economic situations.

However, I believe it might be a huge stretch to write an article which gives the appearance or suggestion even that Governor Rick Perry was pushing for the passage of secretive arrangements, a totalitarian dictatorship by Barack Obama, or even future legislation he was not a part of, did not have the specifics as yet, and was waiting to see as was the rest of America.

You know…. I’ve kind of had enough of media outlets, left and right alike, creating untrue statements out of what could be true statements were it not for passionate individuals trying so hard to make untrue into something that appears true (even if not)  just to make a group believe something untrue.

If you want to make an assumption people, at least make an assumption that holds water instead of creating flimsy reports based on dubious and far fetched brickbat for politically-motivated desires.

Perhaps it’s time for us to make our own assumptions now, and I base mine on what I consider Breitbart’s irresponsible article which seems to fly in the face all journalistic professionalism.

That assumption is:

Big Orange B, sometimes I think you need to clean up your act just a little more than this.  Shame on you.

Caleb's Report Banner

Why This Site Is Called Caleb’s Report

Reporting With Great Expectations

Numbers 13: 26 – 14: 9 in the Bible tells a story about two men of faith.  Those two men were Joshua, son of Nun, and Caleb, son of Jephunneh.

Read that Scripture.

It will give you strength.

It will give you strength to keep fighting.

It will give you strength to keep fighting for our country.

Everyone seems to remember that Joshua was permitted by the Lord to enter The Promised Land after Moses was disciplined for having sinned before his people and the old grumblers were told they never would enter those promised land gates after they had shown no trust in their God’s promise and plans.

Joshua, the great leader who had been by Moses’ side for so many years is remembered by all for his part in taking a new generation into a new land for a new start in their peoples’ lives.

And it is rightly so that Joshua is remembered well.  He was a great leader, and he did a great thing.

However, I remember Caleb even better.  I think that might be because Caleb just wasn’t quite so noticeable yet every bit as important to the history of those people and that nation.

When Moses sent a group of men, scouts if you will, to check out the land they had worked so long and hard to get to, the men that went forth ahead of Moses did indeed find a great land.

“Oh Moses, it is true.  It is a land of milk and honey!” they exclaimed.  Then they all continued “It’s too difficult to take that land though, Moses.  We’ll be wiped out.  Maybe it’s better to just go back to Egypt.  And… ah…..  well, Egypt wasn’t ALL bad, was it?”

OK, that was my version of what they said, but you’ve got the idea.

Then Caleb gave HIS report.

While Caleb’s report also provided information on what he had discovered about the land ahead, Caleb showed no fear of the obstacles that he also knew awaited them.  He even encouraged his people to fight all those problems and take back the land that they had been given as their land to claim.

Oh, Caleb’s greatness came not in a purple robe or a shield of armor.  Caleb’s greatness came in a simple act of faith.

Caleb had faith in his God to overcome what was ahead, even in his own people’s weakness.

Caleb’s report was a picture full of human trials but an envelop signed with God centered hope.

Can you guess what happened because of Caleb’s report?

Here’s what:

But my servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring into the land into which he went, and his descendants shall possess it.  — Numbers 14: 24  (ESV)

And that is exactly what happened.

So today, in OUR land, we have obstacles to face too.

We can now choose to grumble and complain and not do a thing to go forward.

We can worry and fret and tell each other and ourselves the fight isn’t worth it.

Or….

We can work together for the land we have been blessed to receive as OURS – The United States of America.

It all started with a time in the desert, and then a report of a land ahead that was worth the work and worth the effort.

The posts here are reports as well, some good, some bad, all shared with the belief that while nothing is perfect, and problems exist, we can tackle the problems if we work together.

Let’s work together…

…and keep believing.

There’s a lot at stake and a lot of work to do.

Now on to Caleb’s first second report.

Caleb's Report Banner

Hello world!

There was once a man by the name of Caleb who gave a most helpful report to his people.

Through his research, analysis, wisdom and faith, he quietly moved a nation with that report, and his people were blessed.

Joshua and Caleb saw the Promised Land.

Today, Caleb’s Report is again being given to you.

What will you now do with the information herein?

We’re expecting a lot.
